Undying Love

These trees have been hugging and supporting each other for at least fifteen years. I swear I would probably cry if someone cut them down - or worse yet cut them apart. They are no longer green and fresh and pretty. They are weathered by life's storms, lined and grey and without the other each one would fall. But still, they hold it together through thick and thin, sickness, health and even, to be honest, - death. I'm sure sometimes (especially when it is windy) they rub each other the wrong way. And I have heard it said that his bark is worse than his bite. Still, they know their roots run deep and their arms are, forever,
intertwined.
