Waves of Snow

Don and I went exploring this morning, driving the back roads around Emily. This area is probably a swamp in the summer, but today looked beautiful with the clean snow and winter weeds. The sun started to break through just at the right time.
We all went cross country skiing this afternoon at the Northland Arboretum in Brainerd. Very nice trails that had been beautifully groomed. I am really out of shape!
Had lunch in Brainerd, a restful afternoon at Linda and Mike's house and then a delicious steak dinner tonight. After dinner we got our warm clothes back on and went for a moonlight walk. We enjoy so much, visiting with Linda and Mike; they have a great, comfortable lake home and are the best hosts!
