January 13, Homemade Butternut Squash Soup

Today was our weekly, Play Cafe - moms visit together drinking coffee while the kids play, sometimes nicely. Then off for some car upkeep in the form of fixing a leaky tire and an oil change, then home again. Since I got no pictures of any of our activities, instead, today's pic is of the Butternut Squash Soup I made for dinner in the Vitamix, accompanied by Coconut Chicken Satay Skewers (try to say that five times fast).
