Board Games and Quilts

Both involve squares. However, when I looked a little more closely at the monopoly game, it seems what we called squares, i.e. where we hoped to land, are in fact rectangular in shape! The board is square, however. We used to play monopoly, careers, and other board games a lot when I was growing up. We had such fun with our siblings, cousins and friends.

Behind the board game is a quilt made of squares using some favorite colors of mine. The coffee table is a piece of history. We have had this pine table since the early 70's. Go large to see some of the scars from children playing on it. It's all good as far as I am concerned. Those marks are memories!
