Mentholyptus

I live in a small place just at the foot of the Pennines.

They recently put up two rather splendid huge bronze plaques that show the history of the town which includes a fantastic brass band and the fact that Flemish weavers specialised in making and bleaching cotton round here.

I love the place but you know they were struggling when they include the fire at the Halls mentholyptus factory in the early 1900s ... on the plus side everyones sinuses were remarkably clear for quite a while afterwards.
