Prisoner 24601

Creaking Gate

I managed to get out of the office for a wee walk at lunchtime today.

As I've mentioned before, the area of Glasgow where I work is a desolate place.

There are though, dotted around, signs of what was a vibrant and industrial past.

In 1804 a meteorite fell from the sky into a quarry in Possil. It was (and is) one of four such events in Scotland.

If it fell today, its impact would probably cause zillions of pounds in improvements.
