Misty, misty, day...

After all the wind and rain it was rather nice to have a much calmer day today. But with the calm came the mist which hung around all day but just added a nice atmospheric touch.

I am having an early and possibly extended Lent this year. So no lunches or coffees out have been organised and while I swam yesterday and will again tomorrow today the exercise was a long, fast walk.

Later I removed a rubber doll and various other impedimenta from the garden which, I presume, had been brought in by foxes.

This week's book is "The Perilous Question" by Antonia Fraser which is about the passing of the Great Reform Act in 1832.
