Which Hazel?

Time for our annual pilgrimage to the Botanics to admire the witch hazels, which provide a splash of brightness on a dull, damp, winter's day.

My favourite, var Barnstedt Gold, continues to flourish but is getting too big to photograph without walking on the garden. My blip is a relatively young specimen, Hamamelis x intermedia var Jelena, the same as my own, whose flowers are out but crowded with other shrubs.
