Open Door

Snug as a bug till I gently poked her up the bottom with a small twig. She couldn't stay indoors all day, exercise was called for and so was a blip - the latter being a matter of some urgency.

This tiny, well disguised spider, with her green body and reddish brown head and legs, had made her des res on the top of an ivy leaf. Catching the warmth of the sun as it swept round the garden she was sheltered by the leaves above and well hidden under her pale but rather untidy web. Only Icm big I thought she looked quite attractive and cute...for a spider :) Pictured here probably a bit annoyed, peering out of her backdoor which only seconds ago had been firmly sealed to intruders.
