Don't play with fire kids...

...pay to watch a super duper expert at your local circus. Some of the acts had us holding our breath particularly the woman climbing and twirling in the high ropes without any safety equipment. We also witnessed lots of mistakes as the entertainer doing the plate spinning broke more than he span. Eventually the entire entertainment crew came out to support him during his act and I think we all sighed a breath of relief when he finally got all the plates spinning! Turned out that he was only fourteen years old but what a showman as he dealt with the mistakes with great professionalism.

I love the gritty and old fashioned nature of the circus as watching such multi-talented people is a real pleasure...even if they get it wrong sometimes.
