Self Sufficient

I came home from work to a shocking scene on Sunday.....the husband had baked a cake, and it was edible, and tasted good. I had jokingly told him the other day that at his age he should be more self sufficient instead of leaving everything to me! This is a Nigella recipe for ginger and guinness cake, he saw it on TV then googled the recipe, nothing broken in the process and the kitchen is undamaged, unlike the day I came home and had to replace the frying pan.

The teenage boy's mood has significantly improved, the girl has taken over now, no wonder I have a headache.

Is it ever going to stop raining?????
