The Untrained Eye

The female of the species.... I think!

Visited Puxton Park, "number 1 for outside adventure" , just south of Bristol with Grandson 5 and spent an unexpectedly interesting three hours looking at various and mainly British farm animals in wet fields. It also included an owl and falconry centre of which this peregrine falcon was an occupant. Said Grandson was amazed and enthusiastic and his enthusiasm was contagious and I began to find pleasure in the simplicity of animals in their farm environment. This is man who until recently lived in the middle of countryside which in addition to farm animals included visible badgers, foxes, kites, owls, hawks.....
