Sunspots

I'm not happy with the composition here. I see from the photos I took that I had 2 whole minutes to get this shot before the sun faded into the mist again. I spent a lot of time iterating towards a sensible aperture and exposure, whereas it should really take seconds. Anyway I'm still very happy with this because I can just make out sunspots! NASA have a rather better picture today (there is a slight difference in rotation). What amazes me is that the NASA photo shows that the spots are about the same size as the Earth. So the Earth is tiny dot compared to the Sun, which itself is just a modest star in a modest galaxy.
