Same pattern of weather ...
has created more of these "ice snowflakes" in the lake surfaces. I blipped one of these before and then they slowly disappeared from the lake surfaces. We had more freezing temperatures, followed by heavy wet snow, and then rain and warmer temperatures. They have appeared again in different locations due to the shifting integrity of the ice surface itself. Small holes and cracks allow the lake water to infiltrate the layer of snow and create these formations.
We had an early night yesterday and an uneventful day today which allowed me a little time outside with my camera. I am tired and behind in my journals but I will catch up! Thank you for all the well wishes for Henry yesterday...
