Just Another Saturday.

These Autumnal Saturdays are starting to fall in to a pattern.

Long lie, leisurely breakfast followed by a nice long walk in the sunshine. Back home to the Weekend Guardian catchup, Radio 3 jazz programme followed by an opera and some pasta.

I sort of surprised myself with this jazz stuff. I don't like jazz.Far to cerebral for me but today I was taken a bit by surprise when I found myself getting into a programme of Bill Frissel's guitar playing. I've never heard of him before but it was very good.


Time to start prepping the pasta. Salmon in Vodka sauce with Verdi's Don Carlos in the background.

That Verdi could write some good tunes.
