A Perfect Start To The Day
Awake really early and couldn't go back to sleep. I've excitement and nerves building up in my tummy as our "project's" end is so close now. There is still so much dotting of the "i's" and crossing of the "t's" that could still trip us up but ..... we're nearly there now and keeping everything crossed.
I was showered and dressed before 5.45am and was delighted to see Bingo on the patio at 6.15am. She was more than happy to take her custard creams from me (6 in total) and this capture in the best of the four I took.
Well that's my blip for today, done and dusted and in the bag before 8.20am - brilliant.

I'm updating my journal entry at 14.04 ... I can't speak without bursting into tears, I feel as if I've been kicked by a horse and don't know how to console my hubby.
We were trying to purchase a small property overseas and everything was ready and we were leaving on Friday. The owner of the property has just pulled out saying he's decided not to sell (how kind of him to tell us with just 5 days to completion).
A few sayings are coming to mind just now:-
"Every cloud has a silver lining"
"Everything happens for a reason"
"What goes around, comes around"
Now it's all about recovering our losses - hey ho, "tomorrow is another day"
