Mels Drive-in

This has recently become our favourite place for breakie! Founded in 1947 Mels Drive-ins are a chain of diners in San Francisco this one has that classic American diner feel with the working duke boxes with a whole collection of music! I chose 'Here comes the Sun', by the Beatles for a quarter. Sol ordered a milkshake and I ordered a healthy juice, both came out with extra containers with the left over milkshake and juice that had been made - so you basically get a free refill without even expecting it! I do wish our 'greasy spoons' at home were a little more like this...
