Made up with make up

I've been wearing make up everyday this year. It's been noticed and everyone is saying how great I'm looking.

I hate that it takes make up for people to say I'm pretty (apart from my husband, he thinks I'm beautiful all the time) but at the same time I appreciate that people think that they can tell me I look nice and I believe them.

Being overweight means I don't always think I do look nice, but thus "validation" from others is helping me turn off that negative internal voice.
