The wedding I was shooting went off without a hitch ......... as far as the guests were concerned.

Behind the scenes there were the minor 'irritations' such as the electronic brakes seizing on in the car taking the bride to the hairdresser (not mine) - a short detour back to the hairdresser for a pair of glasses (again, not mine) - the brides sister cutting it very fine to arrive and help her get dressed and deliver the bouquet - Bags and the monsters being driven right to the venue instead of the bus as planned so she had to entertain them for an hour in an empty premises - the cake not being delivered until after the ceremony was over and just before the buffet was served (it was a late order apparently and only just finished).

Getting the pictures taken was like herding cats...........
With something like 15 kids under 10 it was a challenge.
The 'wedding planner' buggering off with my running order for the pictures after about the 2nd group which didn't help!
But the professional wedding photographer who was a guest was an absolute star - she stole the running order back and did the cat herding (so I didn't object when she asked for a couple of extra shots to be sneaked in).

After everything was over SWMBO and I went back to 'the wedding planners' flat and had a cup of tea. We were about to all leave and go for a well earned drink at the brides fathers house, when SWMBO was violently sick.
No idea what caused it but while she went for a shower and we cleaned up it was decided it may just be better to get her home.
Ah well!
