The Briddlesford Oaks

The yo-yo weather pattern continues with a glorious sunny blue sky day.
I decided to walk to a favourite stand of ancient Oak trees which I am trying to picture in all seasons and weather conditions.

Even though this parkland is at the top of a hill the ground is so wet it squelches underfoot, it just cannot take any more water.
