School party

It's damp and dreary out. We were going to go to the Wetlands Centre at Arundel this morning as we do most Wednesday mornings, but it was damp and we were neither of us feeling up to it. Fair-weather bird watchers! His nibs has started coughing and spluttering again so it seems this bug is back with a vengeance again. I think it's one of those viruses that keeps coming back in different disguises. Wonderful as we've just got back to work.

I've started taking an 'insurance' blip in the mornings in case the weather is too bad to blip from the window later in the day. As I looked out I noticed a large number of people on the shoreline, some wearing high viz jackets. At first I thought it was another beach clean up, then I realised there were lots of little people. It's a school party. In fact, it looks like two groups. What a day for it. I hope they find lots of interesting things thrown up on the shoreline.
