Cocoon

This rather large cocoon caught my eye today.

It is as big as two of my fingers together! You can see the outline of a creature in there but I think some other insect has made a hole and.....well put it this way I dont think the original owner is still alive.

I am so worn out tonight I'm falling asleep as I write this and must away to bed. The weather has turned and its now quite cool and raining outside which is pretty strange but the lovely sound will put me to sleep instantly!
