"skies of blue...."

This was how blue the sky was this afternoon when I went for a quick stroll along the river at lunchtime. Winter can be a horrible season but when you get cold, frosty skies like this I'm not going to complain!

Seems fitting then that the sky did this today when there was a programme on TV tonight about our body clocks and what makes us a lark or an owl. Given the time it was shown here in Scotland, it was only going to be the owls among us who would have seen it. haha!

Apart from all the science based stuff, which was actually very interesting (the body clock in our brain would actually tick if removed and placed on a dish in the lab), the presenter mentioned that due to the change in our lifestyles, in the 21st century on average we only get/see 1hr of daylight a day, hence the need for bright, spacious offices. For me, here in a Scottish winter, I only see 20mins of daylight a day if I'm lucky! :(
