The Castle Gate

As my leg was feeling quite good I decided to have a stagger walk round the village and try for a few shots.

When I set off it was fine if not bright, half way through the trip it began to drizzle so not many shots were taken. Rain drops on the lens don't tend to improve the shot!

When I got back I settled on this one of the old gate into the castle. It was the bleached Oak which had caught my eye. The whole gate is worth a look at - you don't get detail like that in something as utilitarian as a gate these days.

Then it was back to the paper work preparing for another meeting tonight.
