old glory

My old trusty steed. Left un-ridden since we moved back to NY. I have made a commitment that I will ride her again before the year is out, regardless of the lousy weather. I just have to.

I checked it over and gave it a little tuneup. All is in good order, except I need a new front tube.

I know this bike is literally ancient in terms of bicycle technology, but she still feels new, robust, and ready to fly through the woods at the slightest provocation. Has it really been 14 years already?

Incidentally, my classmate in the my darkroom class is also 14 years old. That just seems totally wrong to me.
