Life lessons

In a way this blip is for Sydney, who I 'met' yesterday while browsing blippers. Sydney is undergoing an annual teaching review based on the Danielson Scale, which sounds absolutely horrendous! If you haven't read any of her blips yet, you really should :)

So the mug shot is for her and all the other teachers out there under the OFSTED spotlight. One of my chums bought me this for Christmas and it made me laugh out loud.

The other reason I am going with this shot is because it also shows one of the giant coasters made by the Ards Man. These made our daughters laugh out loud. Is it a coaster? - too big. Is it a placemat? - too small. So it has now been classified as a giant coaster. We get good value from woodwork in our house. I suppose that the Ards Man is used to working on a larger scale - dining tables, doors, boats etc.
