The kindness of friends

Sadly a colleague had a house-fire last week and pretty much lost everything. An email was sent informing everyone of what had happened and what started out as an appeal for some basics to help her family get back on their feet ended with a huge pile of donations building up in the staff room. It's touching that so many people gave so much.
