London food tour 3.0

Definitely one of my favourite days of the year. There isn't anything better than spending the day with a fantastic group of friends, waking around the greatest city in the world, eating amazing food and enjoying a few drinks and games along the way. Starting off the day with gin-based Bloody Marys (it's now official that I don't like Bloody Marys) at Maltby St market, then for Argentinian empanadas at Borough Market, before heading over the river for an ale at the Cheshire Cheese. This was followed by Italian tapas at Polpo in Farringdon, then coffee & cake at Look Mum, No Hands in Old Street, then drinks at the tipi terrace at the Queen of Hoxton. Next was Brewdogs for pints and finally a great faux-French place for am immense amount of red wine and cheese. I think the 'last train home' thought was the only thing that got us moving from there. It's a great day to plan out and then carry out, but one of the lovely parts is leaving a little bit unplanned and seeing where we end up.
