Green Woods

One of the striking features of the Gillies Hill Woods is the extent to which a range of mosses covers stones, walls and trees. Even on a dull day like today the greenery can be quite spectacular as this shot taken near the top of the hill shows. I think the dark brown of the wet leaves also helps to highlight the green of the moss.
