Another fungus

Found this one on a small tree branch.

Had a hairy drive to work this morning - our gravel driveway was fine but our rural road was an ice slick. Thought about turning around, but kept going very slowly and by the time I made it to the main, well traveled road, things were much better. It's been misting rain most of the day but the temperatures are above freezing for the present time, so driving home was much easier. Is it spring yet?
