Conservative Cockrel

Wandering through London I came uppm this slightly surreal art work on the fourth plinth. I played with the saturation to mimic the impact I felt on seeing it. The plaque beneath read like a political pun ... a conservative cockrel!

'Hahn/Cock' is a sculpture of a familiar domestic blue cockrel in ultramarine blue. made from flass fibre reinforced polyester resin and fixed on a stainless steel supporting structure.

The sculpture is 4.72 metres high and weighs over 800 kg
