HM's Gables
I've loved taking photos since I was in single digits. But it took me to the tail end of last year to finally learn (in theory) what an exposure was about. Strongly suspect this journal is going to be a diary of my transition from automatic to manual. It may require some patience, so please bear with me.
And so I found myself at lunchtime in the courtyard of Holyrood Palace today, sighing with exasperation as I tried out different exposure values on the Queen's gables (not a place for pigeons, clearly). I very much hope that blipping will allow me to get the necessary practice in. Or at the very least avoid those I wish I had a camera with me moments.
(Paused to wonder who does the pointing as our back wall at home sure does need it)
