More Motorsport

Today was the Australian MotoGP from Philip Island. The Tv coverage started at 10am. if that wasn't enough, the Formula 1 qualifying was on before that! So it has been another massive day of motorsport. I literally got out of bed at 8.45am and turned the TV on. After last weekend's motorsport fest, today was a carbon copy with the exception being that today was two wheels and last weekend was four.

As if that isn't enough... the Brazilian Formula 1 GP is showing at 5am tomorrow morning!

No wonder I have square eyes.

October is a big month of motorsport here. next weekend is the V8's and A1GP cars on the Gold Coast, just an hours drive from here. At the moment it is not looking good for the A1GP cars turning up because of some legal dispute with the freight company. I am thinking of going on Saturday.

Back to the bikes today. Casey Stoner won from Valentino Rossi. Great race and the support categories were great too.

You would think that I didn't get much done today wouldn't you. Well you would be wrong. Between races and during ad breaks I managed to mow the lawn, clean and oil the boat trailer, oil the blanket box, spray diesel on some wood borers in a beam under the house and make a batch of soap... and drink some beer.

Now I am going to make a pork fillet with potatoes and vegetables for dinner.
