My time

I don't normally get enough time to have a good old fashioned wet shave. So this evening I made time for me.
This is my time, no one dare interrupt my shaving ritual.
His is my recipe for a perfect shave:

Ingredients:
- Geo Trumper Rose shaving soap
- Badger brush
- Merkur Safety Razor
- Derby blade
- Hot water
- Cold water
- Acqua de Parma after shave balm

Method:
1- Wet face with copious amounts of hot water, as hot as you can take it.
2- Wet brush with hot water, add to soap and rotate until thick creamy lather is formed. Take your time, the longer the better.
3- Apply lather to face with brisk semi-circular strokes. Apply until a thick layer of creamy bubbles covers your face.
4- Shave face with razor using short downward strokes only. Do not press, let the razor do the work.
5- Rinse razor often, even if you think you are rinsing enough, do more.
6- When finished, wash face with hot water.
7- Repeat steps 2 and 3
8- This time shave face with razor in the same way but shave upward. Remember, do not press.
9- Repeat steps 5 and 6
10- Now splash your face with the coldest water you can tolerate.
11- Pat face dry with a towel.
12- Apply Acqua de Parma shaving balm
