Sint-Agneskerk
This church in our neighbourhood was built between 1919 and 1931, but it seems much older. Although it is beautifully lit at night, it doesn't appear very welcoming with it's spiked black wrought iron fences, closed gates and black painted doors.
The bells ring loudly six days a week to announce masses, which are conducted in Latin. We can see the tall tower, with its clocks, from the upper level in our apartment. The only time that I have seen the gates open is during mass. Even then, the church doesn't appear inviting.
