Old goers in Goa - we are here!

Wow we've got here and we were only 15 minutes later than the driver who met us at Goa airport expected. Considering the thousands of miles flown, the traffic encountered in Mumbai and so on it is amazing. There was extra chaos at the airport in Goa as they are building a large new terminal which I guess will attract more direct international flights, it is due to open soon.

These are the front steps to the bungalow that is to be our home for the next 6 weeks. Everything looks to be perfect for us.

We've unpacked in a haphazard sort of way and have eaten at the restaurant across the road although we did pick up a load of shopping on the way here making full use of the taxi boot to carry water, fruit and veg, all the heavy things really.

Tomorrow is a sorting out day. We are getting a router to use instead of the interim temporary dongle left ready to tide us over. Its taken so long to connect to blip tonight that my jet lag/insomnia has worn off and I'm ready to go back to bed again - its 3.30am here to 10.00 pm in UK. Victory finally at 4.30 am here! Hooray! Night!
