peck, peck, peck

The woodpecker comes into the garden almost every day now - usually between 9 and 10 am. It is quite difficult to capture a blip as it normally stays well away from the house, or if it comes to the window feeders, it has usually gone by the time I set up the camera. It seems more sensitive to movement than the other birds, perhaps because it isn't used to coming into the garden, and flies off quickly when it senses movement.

I'll need to learn how to take better far away shots as this isn't very clear, even given that it was raining at the time.
