OilMan's New Wheels
Ozzie decided this morning that the best way to wake me up was to get on top of me and stick his nose in my face. It worked.
David arrived to put a plywood base on the new vanity before they came to measure for the stone counter top. I headed out to Pilates with some trepidation, since I could barely walk after my first class in months last week. Things went much better this week.
When I got home, OilMan mentioned that he was going to make a "preliminary visit" to the Ford place to check out the Fusion Hybrid. Three hours later he came home and announced that he had bought one. It is a testament to the consummate skill of the salesman that he was able to buy a new car and arrange to have it delivered, even though he purposely didn't take his checkbook with him!
A frenzy of moving boxes of bathroom fixtures out of the garage followed so that he would have a place to tuck in his new baby when it arrived. Now "our" office is filled with boxes, something I have valiantly tried to avoid since the last of the moving boxes was emptied a year ago. Clearly it is a losing battle....
