Aloha

Pictures taken out of airplane windows always remind me of childhood photos of the same - probably black and white, possibly with a propeller, but that same sunny view above the clouds.

Lots of possibilities.

Apparently 'aloha' means both hello and goodbye in the Hawaiian language and it seems appropriate. There was a sense of coming home, although home is a moveable concept. California is certainly where we live. And we love many things about it. But friends and family are what truly make home for me, so I'm a bit torn.
