Green is today's DDW challenge.

It took me a while to appreciate this painting. I made it in my friend Sooz's summer plein air painting class, where we went to a different outdoor site every week. It was a hot day, I was out of practice, it was difficult to manage all those greens! I put the painting away and a couple of years later I fished it out and thought, Not too shabby.

In writing, we learn to "kill our darlings."
In art, we learn to save them until our eye can love them.
