Has spring sprung?!?!?

Look at that!! Blue sky without storm clouds!! Has spring sprung? Have we dodged the snow? I hope so! I don't really enjoy the winter, the dark nights and short days. I feel unmotivated and often miserable! The sunshine puts a spring in my step and a smile on my face. Everyday tasks are done quicker and probably more thoroughly! :) I look forward to the 21st December (or there abouts) which to me, marks that we are through the worst of it and the nights start to draw out again! I used to feel like I was the only one. everyone lamenting over cozy nights with the curtains drawn with their hot coco! Not me!! I want it hot and sunny and I want to wake up to the smell of mown grass and hot earth. I want to hear the sounds of summer, varieties of music being played from open windows through out the neighbourhood and the smell of the BBQ being fired up. Children playing outside and suntan lotion, the chatter of families enjoying sitting outside at patio sets spending time together! ......... Now please let spring have sprung coz I'm missing summer terribly!! :D
