Making Marmalade
Cut the oranges in half and cooked them in the slow cooker for 8 – 10 hours yesterday, allowed to cool overnight. Now for the fun bit- getting the pips out, chopping peal into small pieces. Then the nail biting bit as the marmalade boils until eventually, after lots of drips on cold plates and is it - isn’t it, that magic moment when setting point is reached.
