Les Thermes

The village is asleep! It may be because it was siesta time but more likely it is because of the annual hibernation when all economic activity slows. The Thermal Spa is closed for its winter break so there are no curistes and that has quite an impact. Attempts have been made to keep it open all year but to no avail. Our local paper shop, the Maison de las Presse, shut yesterday for the last time and that will be a sad loss.
