Flowers in the Rain

All my Blips lately have been quite monochromatic so I was looking for something a bit brighter for today.

These colourful 'Phoenix Flowers' are located in an underpass in the shadow of the M8 motorway at Cowcaddens, Glasgow. They've always caught my eye...but they have been photographed to death so I was looking for a different take on them and found an answer in a puddle!

The flowers have been around since 2010 and were commissioned to brighten up a dreary cycle path near Chinatown.

I think they work a treat.
