my christmas pressie...

I got from hubby (one of them) ... at least a part of it - my cross flute. I once mentioned (must have been months before christmas) that I would love to learn how to play the cross flute as I am always impressed when listening to it.... I am having piano lessons and now it seems I have to do cross flute lessons as well. I managed to get some tunes out (even they say it might take months to get the first tone out) - but seems I am a "talent" :))) Now I get out some simple tunes but no melody so I think I have to ask for a teacher ... love the flute to bits btw. - try to play every day - and if its just for a few minutes as the funny thing is when I start to play both my dogs come out and sit in front of me and do look at me like they were asking: is everything okay with you - do you have some pain? - cute
Now off to meet up with my girl friend Martina at the Greek Restaurant "Paros" - gammas - will have some fish and an ouzo and a retsina.... don't care about the calories today....
