OSBORNE HOUSE KIRKCALDY

It is a fine building now converted to residential flats but in 1858 owned by a gentleman linen mill owner who graciously granted the men of Kirkcaldy the right to create a bowling green on a field site adjacent to his dwelling.
Today Kirkcaldy Bowling club flourishes thanks to the generosity of Provost Stocks.
