365 #16 - Sole survivor

I have a real thing for this type of shot. One remaining leaf, a single feather, that kind of thing and especially when, as in this case, something is coming to an end. It's a bit sad but I find it beautiful, so it's a front runner for my weekly challenge entry on the theme of beauty.
The back lighting helps and oddly makes this look like a selective colour shot, though it wasn't touched barring a small crop.
