An old view of Edinburgh

It was the first Edinburgh Hour of the year on Twitter this evening also known as #EdinHour. You can join in if you like: 2nd Wednesday of every month.

We were talking of Edinburgh Old and New, and I took this photo - a copy of an image which I captured in 1983. Which is either sad or remarkable - taking pictures of this city for 30 years and more... Maybe I should start back-blipping.

I found some great old ticket stubs when searching through old diaries for inspiration... and some references to events I'd quite forgotten. I wonder if my 15 year old will save any of her 15 year old experiences for posterity?
