What the hell could anyone have moved here to leave these shoes behind? They look as ravaged, but they are here already for a while as can be seen.

I assure you, they are unused. These shoes have never been used outdoors.

I left them where they were. On the steps of the stairs to a small terrace at the back side of the empty building in the park Semiramis in the district Alexanderpolder.
