Does this Moon look small to you?

Last night's full Moon was an apogee one. It was at the furthest point in its orbit from the Earth. In terms of distance it was about 50,000km or just over 30,000 miles further away than its closest approach. So the Moon appeared about 14% smaller and 30% dimmer than when at perigee.

As it was pouring down here last night I couldn't capture it, so here we are, a day late!
